What is the point of this?
Nothing, literally nothing. I’m going on the university websites and manually transferring the stats to an excel (google sheets for now).
There are incredible insights that can be pulled from clean data sets. I want to help provide the data bedrock that could end up helping a team sign player A vs player B.
College football is particularly topical because of the infancy of NIL. Everyone chuckled at Ohio State’s $20M roster, then they won the 2024 Championship. The money is only going to increase and there is going to be a real need to dive deep into the data.
